Seyed Navid started his role as a full-time Senior Lecturer in Business and Management at Castle Business School ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ Leicester on 01/March/2019.

Navid is an accomplished Senior Lecturer based in the UK, specialising in Strategic Management, international Business, and Entrepreneurship. With extensive expertise spanning over 25 years, he has garnered a wealth of practical and academic experience across Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East. Navid's outstanding credentials include Senior Fellowships with the UK Advance Higher Education (SFHEA), Chartered Management Institute (FCMI), Certified Management and Business Educator of CABS Chartered Association of Business Schools (CMBE) and Academic Member of the British Academy of Management (BAM).

Recently, Navid successfully completed the Transition to Leadership Programme certified by Advance Higher Education Academy, demonstrating his commitment to professional development and leadership excellence.

Navid has demonstrated a wide-ranging proficiency in teaching and leading various business management programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including UG, PG, and MBA courses. Additionally, he is adept at supervising dissertations, ensuring academic excellence and fostering the growth of aspiring scholars.

Navid plays a pivotal role as the Subject Lead - Business & Management (Postgraduate) overseeing the MSc IB Suite Programmes, Global MBA and L7 Business Administration Senior Leader Apprenticeship with nearly 2,000 students and 80+ academic colleagues. Moreover, he actively contributes to the academic community by serving as an external examiner and providing valuable advisory insights.

His research interests and practical work experience converge in several areas, notably International Business, Knowledge Management, NPD Process (New Product Development), Innovation, Leadership, and Strategic Management. Navid's dedication to advancing these fields reflects his passion for contributing to the betterment of businesses and the academic world alike.

Above and Beyond Responsibilities

1 -Developed a school-level VLE (LZ) resource ( 2022-2025) ( ) to support colleagues within the Faculty of Business and Law (BAL). Since its launch, the resource has received over 5,000 views, demonstrating its significant impact and widespread use at ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥. 

2- ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ BizSpark (24-25): In response to students interest in gaining UK-based business experience, we have organised ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ BizSpark (Business Challenge Competition) for 24-25 academic year. This is an excellent opportunity to engage in a dynamic competition that bridges theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, enhancing both your practical and academic skills. Participating in BizSpark will also add valuable experience to your CV, demonstrating your engagement and involvement with the UK’s business environment. In this competition, we had the voluntary participation of 7 UK companies—including family businesses, SMEs, and multinational corporations—alongside over 150 students and 20 academic staff members.  

This programme (BizSpark) was co-led and organised by Dr Masoud Keimasi and me, with support from Ms Leena Dattani-Demirci, Head of Student Success and Professional Development at BAL and the Head of LMM School Ms Julia Cook. 

3- Training sessions for ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ international partners : Since 2023, I have delivered voluntary VLE / LZ training sessions for our international partners in Dubai, Denmark, Kazakhstan, and China, which have contributed to the development of partner performance and supported ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥’s goals and mission.
